Motihari (Bihar), Jan 5: A Tibetan Buddhist monk crawled all his way from Lhasa to Bodhgaya on a mission to pray for peace and harmony in the world.
Gyansen Lama started his journey a year back with two of his friends from Tibet and reached Motihari in Bihar.
On his way, he spent some time in Nepal trying to figure out his way through the country, especially since he faced language problems.
"In Tibet, I stayed in Dargeh at the Chacha Gumba Temple. I started my journey from this temple with two of my friends. I took my visa from Lhasa in Tibet and left with Setan Lama for Nepal. Because of a language problem it took me so long in Nepal to decide about my journey to Bodhgaya, which is too far," Lama said.
Keeping the rigours of the journey in mind, the monk prepared himself for the ordeal. He wrapped himself in a special apron and wore special wooden gloves and shoes to avoid physical injury.
